Dr. Hugh W. Hawkins IV
Hubert W. Hawkins IV MPH DDS F-AAID D-ABOI/ID is a nationally recognized, experienced implant surgeon and restorative dentist credentialed as a Fellow by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and board certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He graduated from the State University of New York in Buffalo and received extensive training through an Oral and Maxillofacial Externship at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Hawkins completed his residency at a Level 1 trauma center in Erie County, New York and has additional practical experience in implants, aesthetics, and tissue grafting from world-renowned experts.
Dr. Hawkins received his BA in Mathematical Sciences and Economics at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. In 1995, he received his Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Health Administration from Loma Linda University. Dr. Hugh Hawkins is actively involved with state and local dental issues, and proudly served as the President of New Hampshire Dental Society. He has been awarded the “Top Dentist in New Hampshire” by New Hampshire Magazine every year since 2011.
A resident of Northern New Hampshire, Dr. Hawkins enjoys spending quality time with his family and German Shepherds, officiating for USA Swimming competitions, snow skiing, mountain biking, waterskiing, windsurfing, and an occasional triathlon.
Dr Dave DeSalvo, DDS, FICOI, FAAIP
Dave earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University. During his four years in dental school, he completed four surgical externship programs, eleven community outreach initiatives, and was a contributing author for an American Student Dental Association biannual newsletter. He also simultaneously completed his Master’s degree in Sustainability from Harvard University, where he conducted independent research on the utilization of Passivhaus design for residential homes in the state of New Hampshire.
Dave is a resident of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. His passion for the state and its residents is a major driving factor for him to continue learning and consistently improving his work. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Implant Prosthodontics.
During his free time, Dave enjoys rock climbing, exploring New Hampshire, and expanding his knowledge in various fields. He continues to tutor and mentor both pre-professional and dental students. Now a hobbyist, he has retired his career as a competitive runner where he was a 2x USA Track and Field Club National medalist and founder of a successful post-collegiate club team.

Frank Valenti, MS, CRNA
Frank Valenti, MS, CRNA is board certified in Nurse Anesthesia and Non Surgical Pain Management and is principal and owner of Plymouth Anesthesia Associates, PLLC (PAA). We are your sedation professionals and look forward to helping make your dental visit a pleasant experience. With over 17 years of experience, PAA works closely with your dentist to ensure a safe, comfortable sedation experience in the office setting. Our goal is to provide a customized, pleasant sedation plan for you and to make your dental visit as stress free as possible.

Tamra Perry, CDA
Tamra has been working at Dr. Hugh’s Dental since 2006 and is the office manager. She is a certified
dental assistant who has been working in the dental field since 2003. She has experience and offers
expertise in a wide range of dental procedures. She loves working with people and helping them with
their dental needs.
Tamra is native to Littleton and really enjoys working in the community she grew up in. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with family. She is married with 2 sons and a daughter. She also loves dogs and has 2 amazing Great Dane girls..
Katie Latulip, RDH, CPHDH
Katie Latulip is a Graduate of Vermont Technical College, where she obtained her Dental
Hygiene degree in 2007. After graduation, Katie work in private practice for many years before
pursuing an opportunity in Public Health. Katie worked for an FQHC where she continued her
education obtaining her Certified Public Health Dental Hygiene certificate. Katie has a passion
for bridging the gap between medical and dental integration. She feels it is imperative to offer
patients comprehensive dental treatment as part of a holistic approach of overall care. Katie
has led and implemented many medical and dental integration projects during her public health
service, including access to care for Veterans and residents of nursing homes. Katie has
returned to private practice to continue to provide comprehensive care to her patients. Katie
enjoys working one on one with her patients and continues her passion for caring for patients
outside of the traditional dental setting. When Katie is not providing patient care, she enjoys
traveling with her spouse, listening to singer and song writers, spending time with her family,
gardening, and producing maple syrup at her sugar house in the spring.
Mya Browne, Dental Assistant
Mya began working at Dr Hugh’s Dental in early 2023. She is a dental assistant with a background as an orthodontic assistant and a certified LNA. She loves to be in the healthcare field providing her patients with the best care possible.
Outside of the dental office, Mya loves to travel with her significant other and family to experience other cultures. When she’s not traveling she finds comfort doing all the small town activities in the great white mountains where she was born and raised.
We do our best at Dr. Hugh’s Dental PC to keep the office relaxing. We know…a dental office might not be the most relaxing place for you, but we do our best. You should know that our state-of-the-art equipment and technology allow us to provide you with more comfortable procedures. That’s less stressful for you!
